Using Seabury's public library card on campus, your own card (preferable), or a public library terminal, you can view the full-text articles online, print them out, save them to disk, or download the articles to your e-mail account. FindArticles.com. Full-text of generally more sophisticated articles published in over 300 magazines and journals dating from 1998. You can view publications by nine subjects, or search individual periodicals by name a-z, as well as use the search box. A cooperative venture of LookSmart and the Gale Group. Hints for searching in FindArticles.com (Boolean search): - Use quotation marks for phrases
- Use + in front of any keyword or phrase that must be included. e.g., +"dim sum" +recipe
- Use - in front of any keyword or phrase that must be excluded.e.g., +"dim sum" +recipe -restaurant Important note: there should be no space between + or - and your phrase or keyword.
- Encyclopedia Britannica Online. This limited version of the Britannica print edition still suggests excellent magazine articles (in addition to best web sites on a topic). The library owns the 2002 print version of this scholarly encyclopedia.
- National Geographic Magazine Index. Indexes the entire collection, plus other publications.
